Products Introduction
The Sand & Gravel Filtration System is a highly efficient water filtration system that integrates a number of key components, the core of which includes a sand filter tank, backwash control valves, air valves, solenoid valves, pressure gauges, and an intelligent automated controller. Plentirain filters are carefully crafted for the treatment of dirty water, and are capable of finely filtering out microscopic contaminants down to 20 microns.
Filtration Principle
When the system is in filtration state, pressurized water flows into the water distribution system from the inlet of the filter tank and reaches the filter media layer evenly. As the water flows through the media layer, suspended matter is retained by the filter media. At the bottom of the filter, there is a water collector with slit, the clean water after filtration is collected evenly and flows out of the filter.
Backwashing Principle
As the impurities continue to accumulate in the filter media layer, the pressure loss increases, and when the pressure difference increases to a certain set value or reaches the set cleaning, the system will automatically switch to the backwashing state. The pressurized water enters the filter media layer through the water collection device and flushes it, dislodging the retained pollutants and discharging them out of the filter system. After the backwash lasts for at least 2 minutes, the valve automatically switches the system to the filter state.
