Working Principle
The working principle of sand centrifugal filter is based on centrifugal sedimentation and the difference in density of substances. When water flows into the filter from the inlet under specific pressure, due to the different densities of sand and water, it is subjected to the combined effect of centrifugal force and centripetal force, together with the difference between buoyancy and fluid resistance, which makes the lightweight clear water float upward and overflow from the top. While the sand particles with greater density are deposited at the bottom and discharged through a special outlet, thus realizing an effective sand removal effect. In addition, this filter enhances grit removal efficiency by increasing inlet pressure under specific conditions and supports parallel operation of multiple units to meet greater flow requirements.
